| Welcome to the home of (Triple) XXX Knives. My name is Derrick Tappin, I am a hunter and a fisherman and I reside in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been designing, forging and creating knives for 6 years. My adventure began after realizing that the knife I sought was not available in any local store. It was then that my knife making journey began. I wanted a knife that was practical, durable, affordable and unique to me. So each of my knives is designed to be just that! No knife is ever designed the same so you can be sure that your knife from XXX Knives is one of a kind. I specialize in hunting and fishing knives although many are very versatile and can be used for an array of activities. I also do custom knives, restorations and repairs. My knives are designed with an array of materials including antler, exotic woods, horn, bone and occassionally mammoth ivory. All knives come with a custom made sheath specific to that knife. They are made of 6-8 oz heavy tooling leather, bound with leather strap so you can be sure it will last a lifetime. Excellent as a collectable as well because all knives are one of a kind and unique.
